الاهتمامات البحثية

تشمل الاهتمامات البحثية للدكتور ولفغانغ فيشلي، دراسة كيفية المحافظة على الحياة في مختلف البيئات، من خلال تكيف الخلايا والكائنات الحية مع الظروف المختلفة والمؤثرات الخارجية. وتهدف أبحاث البروفيسور فيشلي الى دراسة اللعمليات اللاجينية الأساسية بصورة مفصلة وجزئية. حيث يبحث في كيفية تأثير التغييرات الجزيئية الخلوية مع الحالات الهيكلية والوظيفية المختلفة للكروماتين بإعتماد نهج متعدد التخصصات. ويشمل هذه النهج التقنيات المتقدمة لتصميم وتحليل النظم المعقدة للكروماتين مختبرياً (الكيمياء الحيوية والفيزياء الحيوية)، والبيولوجيا الجزيئية والخلوية لدراسة مكونات الكروماتين الأساسية والتحليل الشامل لأنماط القواعد اللاجينية.
