King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) has launched the KAUST Mathematics Competition (KMC), the first national initiative of its kind designed to identify and nurture outstanding Saudi students in mathematics at the middle and high school levels.
The competition aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which focuses on empowering youth and building a knowledge-based generation capable of competing globally.
Following international standards, the competition covers key mathematical fields including algebra, geometry, and number theory. Winners will receive valuable prizes and can attend a joint summer mathematics camp at KAUST and the University of Cambridge in the summer of 2026. The competition also offers a direct pathway to KAUST Academy’s pre-university programs.
Registration is open until Nov. 9, 2025. The regional round will take place on Dec. 13, 2025, in multiple Saudi cities, and the final round will be held at KAUST from April 3 to 5, 2026.
KAUST encourages eligible students, parents, and public and private schools to register and participate through the official competition website.
