Baqer Aljaman

University Relations Officer (URO)

​Baqer Aljaman is currently serving as University Relation officer at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). His role as URO is to enhance the quality of life by helping the students with their non-academic issues and problems related to housing, IT, restaurants, and markets and link them with the proper department.

In addition to his role as URO, Baqer is a master student pursuing a chemical engineering degree and working in Clean Combustion Research Center (CCRC). His work is to investigate the effects of different additives on benzene pyrolysis. Prior to joining KAUST, he completed his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
  
In his non-academic life, Baqer is a self-learner and always seeking new challenges that help him to grow personally. Furthermore, his interests besides academics are to explore the world & reaching 40 countries by the age of 40. Also, he likes to explore different cultures and traditions by meeting new people and participating in KAUST events.
