These privacy notices apply to all current and former Student Applicants. The purpose of these notices is to inform you about how we are collecting, using, and processing your Personal Data.

• whether you have to provide it to us;

• who your personal information is shared with;
• where your Personal Data is hosted;

Please note: If you provide us with a reference as part of your application, it is your responsibility to first obtain consent from that individual to share their Personal Data with your application. By providing that Personal Data to us, you are affirming that you have obtained such consent.

KAUST maintains appropriate technical, physical, and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, unlawful processing, accidental loss or damage, and unauthorized destruction. However, KAUST cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.
