King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, has launched a global academic leadership program called "Developing Educational Leaders" to strengthen the academic leadership ecosystem in the Kingdom.
The program featured a series of interactive workshops and events, involving 25 educators and administrators from the Ministry of Education and various educational institutions. Additionally, it included an intensive educational visit to London, where participants toured a selection of prestigious universities, colleges, and educational institutions. The program also organized dialogue sessions focused on higher education management to facilitate and enhance knowledge exchange.
Dr. Sultan Al-Barakati, Associate Vice President for Saudi Talent Development at KAUST, explained that the program aligns with national goals by developing strategic thinking, enhancing academic leadership, and empowering participants to effectively address their institutions' priorities.
For her part, the Deputy Minister of Education for Early Childhood, Dr. Abeer Al-Shahrani, emphasized that the Developing Educational Program integrates theoretical and practical frameworks and contributes to aligning general and higher education across various stages.
