The laboratories of Professors Ikram Blilou and Salim Al Babili have teamed up to identify critical molecular pathways that can biofortify plants for vitamin A. 

Assistant Professor Xu Lu and his group demonstrate how high pressure can convert carbon dioxide into selective products, reducing the environmental impact of this greenhouse gas.

Professor Thomas Anthopolous and colleagues have designed a biosensor from metal oxide transistors that can detect glucose levels from saliva samples.

Professor Magdy Mahfouz’s laboratory reports a new system for gene editing that shows some advantages over standard techniques like CRISPR-based ones.
