Suspension of classes

Dear KAUST Community, 

This evening we have been made aware of an update from the Saudi government regarding the suspension of classes starting from tomorrow, March 9, 2020. Given this information, starting tomorrow all KAUST University classes and TKS will be suspended until further notice. 

The University administration and TKS leadership will begin implementing a plan to reinstate classes through distance learning technology and updates on these plans will follow in the next two days. 

For KAUST community members with children who are impacted by these closures, the remote working policy will be relaxed. Please liaise with you individual line manager / supervisor to discuss individual circumstances. 

Daycare will remain open for registered users on a limited, short-term basis until further notice. 

All other University operations will continue to function as normal.
