Olga leads the design and delivery of strategic education and training programs to strengthen policy capacity and to foster evidence-based decision-making in government and the wider public sector. Her research expertise is at the intersection of government policy, strategic decision-making, and risk management in the context of global uncertainty and digital transformation.
Olga is affiliated with the Policy Institute at King's College London, where she previously served as an academic. During her tenure at King's, she was the Programme Director for the Executive Master of Public Administration and the PG Diploma in Professional Policymaking programmes designed to upskill mid-career UK civil servants.
Throughout her career, which includes academic roles at the University of Oxford in the UK and the European University Institute in Italy, Olga has led numerous high impact initiatives for global leaders in government and industry. She has consulted and collaborated with high impact organisations – including the OECD, the Qatar Leadership Centre, the UK Home Office, HM Treasury and other government entities – to support large-scale innovation and transformation initiatives.
At KAUST, she leverages this international expertise to lead policy evaluation projects and to co-create applied learning resources ensuring the Policy Institute serves as a global hub for science and technology policy. Olga holds a PhD in Employment Research from the University of Warwick in the UK and a MA in Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin in Germany.
