Al Janadriyah - Saudi National Festival

The KAUST Exhibition at Al Janadriyah

Situated within the Ministry of Education Pavilion of ‘Al Janadriyah, the KAUST exhibition showcases the remarkable story of the University.

Modern interactive techniques are used to showcase information about KAUST as well as its connection to the fields of science and technology. These are as follows;

  • There are 4 multi-touch tables which enable visitors to interact with information about the Research Centers, facilities and community parts of KAUST

  • 4 interactive walls encourage people to engage with key areas of KAUST, like Economic Development. Also, video footage and press coverage of the KAUST Inauguration Ceremony will be displayed.

  • 4 Video Walls within the Centrum area tell the story of KAUST

  • 4 Large touch screen walls are divided into key areas of study, which include Applied Mathematics and Computational Science, Material Science and Engineering, Bioscience and Engineering and Resources, Energy and Environment.

KAUST representatives are hosts of the KAUST stand, greeting visitors and informing them about KAUST. Small gifts will be given to adults and children who visit the KAUST exhibition.

What Al Janadriyah Means to Me

Omar Bukhari
Jeddah Region

Al Janadriyah is the revival of heritage in all regions of the Kingdom, where it meets in one place to allow visitors the opportunity to identify all regions of the Kingdom in one place. It is an opportunity to see and to know the multi-civilization and cultural heritage in the Kingdom.

Faris Nassef
Jeddah Region

It is a very significant event and great to find out how possible to bring all different cultures from all parts of the historic places in Saudi Arabia and talk about them in details that may not be known to many. Such as camel racing, various foods and etc...

Abdullah Zafer Al-Shahrani
Riyadh Region

Al Janadriyah is something I look forward for it every year and it has become universally known such as recognizing the hosting of France this year and Germany in the last year. It also means to me the connection of the past and present generations to teach young people how their ancestors used to live in the ancient times.
