On Saturday 16 October, Dr. Jean M.J Fréchet, Vice President for Research and Dr. Gary Amy, Director, Water Desalination and Research Center (WDRC) will welcome members of the WDRC Center Industry Affiliates Program, industry leaders, faculty and staff to an afternoon program in the KAUST Conference Hall.

Taking place between 12:30pm – 5:00pm, the inauguration program will feature presentations by the following honoured guests:

  Governor, Saline Water Conversion Corp. (SWCC)
• Loay AlMusallam
  CEO, National Water Company
• Dr. Adil Bushnak
  President, Bushnak Academy
• Dr. Mohamed Al-Saud
  Deputy Minister, Ministry of Water and Electricity (MOWE)

Following this session, delegates will move to the Water Desalination and Reuse Center (WDRC) to be welcomed by Senior Vice President for Economic and Technology Development, Dr. Mohamed Samaha, for the official ribbon cutting ceremony.

Guests will then tour the Water Desalination & Reuse Center laboratory and office area and, if desired, the Core Laboratories and Museum of Science and Technology in Islam. Concurrently, a networking reception will provide the opportunity for guests to meet and exchange views.
