Research Park

Destined to be a premier Research Park in the Middle East, the KAUST Research Park is located next to the KAUST Campus. Its key role is to promote KAUST’s mission of economic development, technology transfer and the creation of entrepreneurial opportunities within Saudi Arabia. The Research Park is part of a comprehensive innovation network linked to technology creation, business formation and development assistance with established technology firms and the marketplace.

The Research Park provides an environment where technology-based businesses can collaborate on research and development with Faculty and students at KAUST, while enjoying access to its labs, equipment, and services.

A vibrant community of entrepreneurs and innovators, the Research Park encourages collaborative research, fosters economic growth & helps further commercialization of the University’s intellectual assets.

  • To sponsor creative and talented international and Saudi Arabian individuals with the aim of supporting the development of the national economy in a special environment, which provides strategic higher education programs.

The Research Park will achieve its vision by offering mentoring incubators to start-up companies while encouraging and supporting educational outreach programs to the broader community.
