As a member of the KAUST staff or faculty, you and your family will enjoy a unique living environment, which combines high quality housing and community amenities for a multicultural population. The University offers a variety of housing options to eligible students, faculty and staff. These options include villas, detached houses, townhouses and apartments which are available for nominal rent.
These elegant residences are fully furnished and are energy efficient with electronics, appliances, linens and other necessities. Other services included are refuse renewal, local telephone service and ongoing home maintenance.
KAUST faculty and staff live in one of three residential areas
- Safaa Gardens golf course neighborhood.
- Harbor District neighborhood.
- Safaa Island neighborhood along the Red Sea coast.
Each neighborhood has distinct advantages and a unique character - a view of the Red Sea, and easy access to a premier golf course, fitness clubs, daycare, shopping and public transportation.
