Feras Rowaihy is currently serving as the Graduate
Student Council President at King Abdullah University (KAUST). In this role, he acts as
a bridge between students and KAUST's executive management, representing the voice of
KAUST students from over 120 nationalities, and working to develop and enhance the
academic and overall on-campus experience.
In addition to his leadership role at KAUST, Feras
is committed to his ongoing Ph.D. research in Circular Carbon Economy,
specifically in Carbon Capture and Storage. He has a proven track record of excellence
in managing complex and high-profile projects, and is skilled in leading
cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams and special task forces. He has experience in
this area, having led teams under executive management at Saudi Aramco.
Furthermore, Feras is also a lifelong learner, currently
self-learning about Computer Science, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence, which
are key, promising fields in this current digital era. He is constantly looking for ways
to improve and grow, both personally and professionally. Feras is dedicated to
delivering results and is constantly striving to improve himself and those around him.
