Future Virtual Incubator

A virtual incubator allows us to deliver our services solely through electronic means.

The incubator will maximize the program resources of the university and provide a fertile medium for the technical and creative activities of students, faculty and staff." Functioning as the point from which business assistance is coordinated throughout the university, the incubator will establish an environment in which innovation and entrepreneurial activity are cultivated.

The incubator will assist in developing new technology-oriented companies and in transferring innovation technologies from the private sector and from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology to the marketplace. Basic business services will be offered, improving the probability of success while generating jobs and enhancing the economy. Some of the services include consulting with and providing insights to aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators.

The tenant will be able to garner the advice of our incubator without actually being located at the incubator site. This suits the entrepreneurs who need the advice and services our incubator offers, but still want to maintain their own offices, warehouses, etc. The general philosophy of the program will be to give assistance to qualifying companies regardless of their location. This policy will allow clients to move forward with the implementation of their business plans and, in a larger sense, with the enhancement of the economy.
