Senior Leadership

KAUST’s senior leadership, led by President Choon Fong Shih, is the University’s executive management team. The team comprises the President, and his direct and selected reports.

Their primary responsibilities include:

• Charting the University’s strategic direction and priorities
• Addressing academic and non-academic aspects of the University’s strategic development and operations
• Deciding on key policies and procedures
• Formulating recommendations for matters requiring approval by the KAUST Board of Trustees
