Husam N. AlShareef
Associate Professor, Materials Science and Engineering
Ph.D. Materials Science and Engineering, North Carolina State University, 1995
M.S. Materials Science and Engineering, North Carolina State University, 1992
B.S. Ceramics Engineering , Alfred University, Alfred, N.Y., 1990
Research Interests
Professor Alshareef's research interests are in Functional Materials for Emerging Electronics and Energy Harvesting applications. Specifically, the use of functional oxide thin films and nanostructures (e.g., piezoelectrics, ferroelectrics, thermoelectrics, high-k dielectrics, and oxide electrodes) in nanoelectronics and energy-harvesting applications is emphasized.
