Research Interests
Trained as an inorganic materials chemist, Yoji Kobayashi's interests are in solving chemical conversion problems from unusual perspectives. With a focus on hydrogen manipulation, the group will develop new or unorthodox catalytic materials and processes. Research will involve the development of new solid state materials, mesostructured catalysts, and applications to reactions such as the Haber-Bosch process or CO2 methanation.
