Coastal & Marine

Located close to the pier to the south of the main campus buildings, the Coastal & Marine Resources Lab facilitates Red Sea research and development, thereby taking advantage of KAUST’s spectacular geographic location. It will:

• construct and deploy modern oceanographic instrumentation
• provide operational services to support research vessels for marine exploration, diving and sampling
• maintain indoor and outdoor seawater facilities for culturing marine organisms.
