WEP 2011 promises to be an enriching and stimulating experience. Taking place from January 15 to January 31, the program will offer events, lectures and seminars, which go beyond the traditional academic curriculum, to our students and the KAUST community. WEP 2011 will offer unique perspectives through insights into new ideas from world-class scholars, scientists and business leaders.

WEP 2011 will focus on 4 distinctive areas. These are

• Saudi Arabian and Middle Eastern Culture and Art.
• Business and Entrepreneurship.
• Technology and Innovation.
• Personal and Professional Development.

Selected highlights of the 2011 program include:

• 'Mathematics in the 21st Century' symposium.
• 'Women in Science' workshop.
• Special seminars to celebrate the International Year of Chemistry.
• Marine Science lectures and seminars.
