Research Interests
- Development of novel, highly efficient, and new-generation nanomaterials for environmental decontamination, such as water treatment by adsorption (e.g., highly selective adsorbents based on molecular imprinting, core-shell structured nanomaterials, functionalized mesoporous carbon/silica-based materials) or by catalysis (e.g., highly efficient bimetallic catalysts and photocatalyst, finding solutions to noble metal catalyst poisoning).
- Lab-on-a-chip sensor development based on microfluidics for fast water contaminant analysis by fluorescent, colorimetric, or electrochemical detection.
- Nanotechnology for enhanced oil recovery
