Vision

KAUST University Development strives to advance and strengthen the mission of the University. We do this by securing sustainable philanthropic support which enables the University to pursue its primary purposes of teaching and research; and by providing opportunities for donors and funding partners to participate in the life of the University and engage in its future.

Mission

University Development fosters relationships with donors to secure private funds that drive excellence in KAUSTs academic, research, and student programs, and support the University campus.

Recognizing the importance of KAUST to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the region and the world, University Development works with donors locally, regionally and globally to attract support for the University.

University Development enhances the image of the University by increasing commitment and investment in KAUST through innovative and creative advancement initiatives, and supports the University's independence.

We value integrity and the respectful treatment of all donors and their gifts.

University Development aims to be

  • recognised as a vital element of KAUST, and playing a central role in strategy initiatives to engage externally to secure the future of the University;
  • a support service to other departments, working effectively with KAUST colleagues;
  • a well-respected department working to the highest standards of the fundraising profession;

Program:

University Development is committed to building a long term sustainable development program that includes the strategic identification, cultivation, solicitation, recognition, and stewardship of all resources. KAUST develops and maintains relationships, and welcomes gifts from:

  • Individual donors
  • Trusts and Foundations
  • Companies

In the future, will work actively with our alumni to continue their life-long relationship with KAUST.
